Job Context
- Novem Ecoresort is a concern of Novem Limited; started its journey from 15th of January 2016. Novem Limited is looking for Deputy Manager, Finance and Accounts for Novem Ecoresort located at Sreemangal.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintaining day to day revenue, receivables, payables and expenses and reporting to management
- Preparing profit and loss accounts and the balance sheet for senior management
- Controlling the payroll
- Assisting in preparing budgets and business planning, including projected room revenue
- Reconciling bank statements
- Producing an accurate set of month-end accounts, with comparisons to forecasts and previous periods
- Ensuring legislation is followed regarding VAT and PAYE
- Chasing late payments, reporting bad debts and keeping a careful eye on the cash flow
- Regular coordination with Project team and other functions including sales and marketing, operations and supply chain
- Supporting Management while internal and external audits
- Leading company efforts in computerizing the accounting system and data management

Educational Requirements
- University Degree (minimum bachelor degree from a reputed University) in Accounting & MIS/ Financial Management
- Age not more than 40 years (unless found highly qualified for the role in question)
- At least 4 years of experience in hospitality industry
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 5 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Accounts, Audit, Finance, Internal Audit, Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax) - The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Hotel, Resort
Additional Requirements
- Age 25 to 45 years
- Both males and females are allowed to apply
- Accountancy skills, ideally honed in a hospitality environment
- IT knowledge
- Data processing skills, including spreadsheet packages
- Analytical and communication skills
- Unmatched attention to detail as you’ll be preparing detailed financial information for senior management
