২০২৫-২৬ শিক্ষাবর্ষে যুক্তরাজ্যের এ স্কলারশিপের জন্য আবেদন গ্রহণ শুরু হয়েছে। পৃথিবীর বিভিন্ন দেশের মেধাবী শিক্ষার্থী ও ভবিষ্যতের নেতৃত্ব দেবেন—এমন যোগ্যতাসম্পন্ন তরুণদের বৃত্তির মাধ্যমে যুক্তরাজ্যের বিভিন্ন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে পড়ার সুযোগ করে দেয় চেভেনিং বৃত্তি। এ বৃত্তির আওতায় যুক্তরাজ্যের একটি নির্ধারিত বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে এক বছর মেয়াদি স্নাতকোত্তর করার সুযোগ পাওয়া যায়। বাংলাদেশ থেকে প্রতিবছর বেশ কয়েকজন শিক্ষার্থী চেভেনিং বৃত্তির মাধ্যমে যুক্তরাজ্যে পড়ছেন। এ বছরের বৃত্তির আবেদনের শেষ দিন আগামী ৫ নভেম্বর।
যোগ্যতাসমূহ
- স্নাতক পর্যায়ে দ্বিতীয় শ্রেণির ডিগ্রি আবেদনের ন্যূনতম যোগ্যতা হিসেবে ধরা হয়।
- যুক্তরাজ্যের বিভিন্ন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে স্নাতকোত্তরে ভর্তির সাধারণ নিয়ম অনুসরণ করা হয় বৃত্তির ক্ষেত্রে।
- বৃত্তির জন্য আবেদন করার ক্ষেত্রে ন্যূনতম কাজের অভিজ্ঞতা থাকতে হবে।
- ইংরেজি ভাষা দক্ষতার পরীক্ষা আইইএলটিএসে ন্যূনতম ৬.৫ স্কোর থাকতে হবে।
প্রয়োজনীয় নথিপত্র:
- যুক্তরাজ্যের বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে সংশ্লিষ্ট কোর্সে আবেদন করতে হবে।
- আবেদনের জন্য বেশ কিছু কাগজপত্র প্রয়োজন। ইংরেজি ভাষায় দুটি রেফারেন্স লেটার বা সুপারিশপত্র, পাসপোর্ট/ জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র, সর্বশেষ পড়া বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সনদ আবেদনের ক্ষেত্রে প্রয়োজন হবে।
- যুক্তরাজ্যের বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলো থেকে ভর্তির ‘অফার লেটার’ সংযুক্ত করতে হবে।
- প্রাথমিকভাবে নির্বাচনের পর মৌখিক পরীক্ষার মুখোমুখি হতে হয় ঢাকার ব্রিটিশ হাইকমিশনে।
