Responsibilities & Context: 

  • Provide legal guidance on land acquisition, property deals, resort development contracts, real-estate agreements and regulatory compliance relevant to hospitality, construction and Otithee Group
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including land agreements, vendor contracts, project contracts, partnership/joint-venture agreement, service contracts, lease agreements, sales/purchase agreements, etc.
  • Manage regulatory compliance, legal documentation, and licensing requirements.
  • Conduct legal due diligence for land purchases, projects, and new business ventures.
  • Handle dispute resolution, legal due diligence, compliance with local laws/regulations, corporate litigation and liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.
  • Work closely with Company Secretary and external legal counsels to ensure corporate compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Advise management on legal risks, obligations, policy development, regulatory changes, liabilities, risk management strategies and legal implications of business decisions

Educational Requirements:  

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); higher qualifications are a plus.

Additional Requirements:

  • Age At least 35 years
  • 8+ years of experience in corporate, property, or commercial law.
  • Experience in hospitality, real-estate sectors, corporate law or related sectors is an advantage.
