Responsibilities & Context:
- Maintain comprehensive full-cycle accounting records, including general ledgers and journals, with high precision.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow).
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts receivable/payable, payroll processing, and expense tracking.
- Ensure strict compliance with local Tax, VAT regulations, and international financial reporting standards.
- Manage and reconcile complex inter-company transactions with the US-based parent organization.
- Facilitate and support internal and external audits by maintaining organized, audit-ready documentation.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and auditors to ensure full adherence to corporate policies and statutory laws.
- Develop and monitor annual budgets, financial forecasts, and sophisticated models for management review.
- Perform variance analysis and trend monitoring to identify cost efficiencies and support strategic decision-making.
- Provide actionable financial insights and data-driven recommendations for operational initiatives.
- Administer and optimize cloud-based accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to ensure data integrity.
- Implement continuous process improvements to enhance reporting transparency and departmental accuracy.
Additional Requirements:
- Age At least 26 years
- Strong knowledge of Bangladesh tax, VAT, and audit regulations.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Manage accounting tools (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
- Ability to implement process improvements for transparency and accuracy.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance
- Professional certification (CA, ACCA, CMA, CFA – full or part-qualified) preferred.
Experience:
- 3 to 7 years
