About Candidate
I am currently working as an Adjunct Lecturer of Mathematics in the Dept of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at BRAC University. Previously I have completed my BSc in Mathematics and Physics from BRAC University, and then I have completed my MS in Physics from the University of Waterloo while being in the PSI Master’s Program at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. During my bachelor’s I have worked as a Student Tutor where I had to grade assignments and give consultation hours to students. I have also worked as a Research Intern at Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics during my third year of undergraduate.
My expertise is in mathematical physics, algebraic topology, homotopy theory, categorical physics, functorial field theories, etc. As a mathematical physicist/theoretical physicist, I am interested in studying the mathematical structures arising out of quantum field theories and string theories. I am also interested in holography and integrability.
At the moment, I am looking for a PhD position, but I am also looking forward to exploring some jobs where I can be useful as someone who is relatively good in mathematical thinking.

Education
I received my MS in Physics degree from the University of Waterloo. I completed the PSI Master's Program at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, upon which I received the MS degree from UWaterloo. The program is Pass/Fail based, and I have indeed passed. Courses I took there were: Classical Physics, Quantum Physics, Quantum Field Theory 1, Statistical Physics, Quantum Field Theory 2, Quantum Foundations, Standard Model, Mathematical Physics 1, Conformal Field Theory, AdS/CFT Correspondence, and Quantum Gravity. I was also supervised by Theo Johnson-Freyd and Lukas Mueller for my MSc Thesis, and it was regarding the \Omega-spectrum structure of \mathcal{N} = 1 supersymmetric quantum mechanics with anomalies. The thesis concerns/is related to aspects of the Stolz-Teichner Program.
I have done a double major in mathematics and physics from BRAC University. I have been trained rigorously in advanced topics in pure mathematics and theoretical physics such as homotopy theory, homology theory, cohomology theory, differential geometry, functional analysis, partial differential equations, measure theory, number theory, galois theory, random matrix theory, quantum mechanics, particle physics, etc., under the supervision of Prof Syed Hasibul Hassan Chowdhury and Prof Dr Tibra Ali. I really grew in a very intellectually stimulating environment at BRAC University under the guidance of such people. Under Prof Chowdhury, I did my BSc thesis which reviewed the Seiberg-Witten invariants of smooth 4-manifolds.
Work & Experience
As an adjunct lecturer, I take courses on advanced mathematics, such as Differential Geometry, Abstract Algebra, Commutative Algebra, Linear Algebra, etc. to upper level advanced mathematics and physics undergraduates, as well as engineering students at BRAC University. Responsibilities include taking classes, making assignments and exam problems, grading scripts, giving consultation hours, invigilating during exams, and participating in research work.
As PSI Intern, I worked on a supervised research project at Perimeter Institute. I also attended the PSI START Summer School.
As a student tutor, I had to grade assignments, and give consultation hours to students of the the courses in which I was assigned. I would usually be assigned to pure math or theoretical physics courses, such as Real Analysis, Topology, Statistical Physics, Classical Mechanics, Functional Analsys
