• Oversee the projects and support the smooth operation and timely compilation of the project.
• Directly supervise the project and manage contractors and labourers.
• Arranging construction materials and ensuring that sites are safe and clean.
• Prepare the measurement sheet/MB, estimate, and BOQ as per the standard format and ensure suitable materials and equipment.
• Provide technical advice for efficient work on specific projects.
• If necessary, diagnose the problems of the machinery in the construction and take measures to solve the problem.
• Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best deals.
• Identify the required materials source and good-quality materials as per the required specifications.
• Negotiate with the supplier & vendor and collect the materials/work price by ensuring the best deal.
• Prepare tender documents as per the prescribed form and guidance of the company representative.
• Work according to the technical drawing and the engineering plan.
• Schedule work and keep the engineering team and clients informed of any changes.
• Collect information, compile reports and present them to relevant stakeholders.
• Explain the work on the site and make arrangements for the necessary repercussions.
• Ensure work quality and report regularly to the line manager.
• Well-confident, dedicated, target-oriented, dynamic and trusted Civil engineers are suitable for this position.
• Any other task assigned by the senior management on a need basis.

Educational Requirements:  

• Diploma in Engineering in Civil Engineering
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering

Experience:  

• At least 2 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Architecture Firm, Building & Construction Materials, Developer, Development Agency, Engineering Firms, Escalator/Elevator/Lift, HVAC System, Interior Design, Real Estate

Additional Requirements:  

• Age At least 22 years
• 2+ years of experience in construction supervision, materials sourcing and identification, and inventory/warehouse management.
• Strong project management and drawing analytical skills.
• Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
• Knowledge about construction materials will be preferable.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• MS Office (Excel, Word) will add an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of local supplier markets across Bangladesh is an advantage.
• Honest, organised, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality.
