According to Google In the Bangladesh, The GM/DGM – Quality Assurance (General Manager/Deputy General Manager – Quality Assurance) is an important management-level position in Bangladesh’s industrial and manufacturing sectors. This role is especially important in pharmaceutical, food, garments, chemical, cosmetics, and other manufacturing companies. The primary objective of this position is to ensure product quality and maintain the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS).

The major responsibilities include monitoring production processes and product quality, coordinating with the Quality Control (QC) department, implementing SOPs and quality policies, conducting internal and external audits, ensuring regulatory compliance, identifying quality issues, and implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). The position also involves leading the quality assurance team, providing employee training, preparing quality-related reports, and advising senior management on quality matters.

Generally, candidates for this position need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or a relevant field. Extensive experience in the relevant industry and strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, ISO, QMS, and regulatory compliance are highly valuable.
