Sydney International School Hiring Computer Science Teacher | Education Jobs in Dhaka 2026

Sydney International School (SIS) is seeking qualified, enthusiastic, and experienced Computer Science Teachers to join our academic team. We are hiring teachers for Primary, Middle Section, and O Level.

ABOUT SYDNEY INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL:

Sydney International School is a co-educational institution committed to providing quality education in Dhaka. Established in 2012, SIS offers classes from Playgroup to A Level and follows the Cambridge curriculum, complemented by an activity-based learning approach.
Our campus is located in Gulshan-2, Dhaka.

• Teach Computer Science at the Primary, Middle Section, and/or O Level, according to qualifications and teaching experience.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Computer Science lessons.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Present concepts clearly using appropriate teaching methods, resources, and technology.
• Provide individualized support and encourage interactive and collaborative learning.
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress.
• Adapt teaching strategies according to students` learning needs and abilities.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Stay updated with current Computer Science teaching methodologies and educational technology.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, development, and improvement.
• Participate in academic activities, school events, clubs, projects, and other assigned responsibilities.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.

Educational Requirements:  

• Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. A Master`s degree will be an advantage.
  
• Relevant teaching experience in Primary, Middle Section, and/or O Level Computer Science.

Experience:  

• 3 to 5 years
  
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): College, School

Additional Requirements:  

• Candidates with 3–5 years of relevant teaching experience will be preferred, particularly for O Level.
• Strong knowledge of the relevant Computer Science curriculum and assessment practices.
• Experience with the Cambridge curriculum/CIE will be an advantage.
• Teaching certification or relevant professional training will be an advantage.
• Strong classroom management and lesson-planning skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good proficiency in English.
• Enthusiasm for teaching and a genuine commitment to student learning and development.

 Additional Preferences:  

• Own smartphone or laptop (for client follow-up and marketing content).
  Computer Skills: MS word, Photoshop/illustrator, Canva (video and photo editing)
