Application Timeline:

• Start Date: November 4, 2024, at 12:00 PM
• End Date: November 25, 2024, at 11:59 PM

Admission Test Schedule:

The admission tests are scheduled as follows:

• Arts, Law, and Social Science Unit: January 25, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM
• Science Unit: February 15, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM
• Business Studies Unit: February 8, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM
• Fine Arts Unit: January 4, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM

Please note that the Science Unit’s admission test, initially scheduled for February 1, 2025, has been rescheduled to February 15, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent examination in 2024. The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent examination should have been completed between 2019 and 2022. Specific GPA requirements vary by unit:

• Science Unit: A minimum GPA of 3.50 in both SSC and HSC, with a combined GPA of 8.00, including additional subjects.
• Arts, Law, and Social Science Unit: A minimum GPA of 3.00 in both SSC and HSC, with a combined GPA of 7.50, including additional subjects.
• Business Studies Unit: A minimum GPA of 3.50 in both SSC and HSC, with a combined GPA of 7.50, including additional subjects.
• Fine Arts Unit: A minimum GPA of 3.00 in both SSC and HSC, with a combined GPA of 6.50, including additional subjects.

Application Process:

1. Online Application: Visit admission.eis.du.ac.bd and log in using your SSC and HSC roll numbers, registration numbers, and passing years.
2. Personal Information: Fill in your personal details and upload a recent color photograph as per the specified guidelines.
3. Unit Selection: Choose the unit(s) you wish to apply for, ensuring you meet the eligibility criteria for each.
4. Payment: After submitting the application, print the payment slip and pay the application fee of BDT 1,050 through the designated banks or mobile banking services.
5. Admit Card: Once the payment is confirmed, download the admit card from the admission portal starting from December 23, 2024.

Admission Test Details:

The admission test comprises Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and written sections. The distribution of marks and subjects varies by unit. For instance, the Arts, Law, and Social Science Unit test includes sections on Bangla/Elective English, General English, and General Knowledge. Detailed syllabi and mark distributions are available in the official admission circular.

Results and Subject Selection:

Admission test results will be published on the official admission website. Candidates who pass the tests must complete the Student Information Form and submit their subject preferences between March 17 and 31, 2025.
