Responsibilities & Context:
- Ensuring compliance: Ensuring adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP).
- Budgeting and forecasting: Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and monitoring expenditures against budgets.
- Regulatory compliance: Managing tax-related matters, including VAT, TDS, and income tax, and ensuring timely filing of returns.
- Inventory management and cost accounting: May be involved in product costing, landed costing, and profitability calculations, particularly in the context of pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- ERP system management: Working with ERP systems for accounting and financial transactions.
- Maintaining financial records: Ensuring proper filing and maintenance of all financial documents, invoices, and supporting materials.
- Communication and reporting: Preparing regular reports (monthly, quarterly, annually) on financial performance and communicating findings to management.
- Excellent proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and modeling
- Positive “can-do” attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Handle full set of accounts, finance, and cash management
- Prepare financial reports, daily cash statements, and reconciliations
- Monitor cash inflow/outflow, petty cash, and bank transactions
- Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors or banks
- Maintain filing systems, official records, and asset registers
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
- Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Accounting
- Master of Arts (MA) in Accounting
- BBA/MBA (Accounting & Finance / AIS),
Experience:
- 2 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Development Agency, Real Estate, Developer
