Responsibilities:

Guest Reception & Check-in/Check-Out:
• Greeting guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Handling – check-in/check-out procedures, including verifying guest details, assigning rooms, and issuing key.
• Processing payments, managing deposits, and ensuring accurate billing.
Guest Services & Problem Resolution:
• Providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.
• Addressing guest complaints promptly and coordinating with other departments (e.g., housekeeping, maintenance) to resolve issues.
• Offering personalized service, such as remembering guest preferences or acknowledging special occasions.
Administrative & Clerical Tasks:
• Managing reservations, modifications, and cancellations.
• Maintaining guest records in the records book.
• Handling phone calls, emails, and correspondence.
Coordination with Other Departments:
• Liaising with housekeeping to ensure room readiness and special requests (e.g., early check-ins).
• Communicating with maintenance for repairs and F&B teams for dining arrangements.
Security & Safety Compliance:
• Managing key control and ensuring guest security.
• Following emergency protocols (e.g., fire alarms, medical situations).
• Upselling & Revenue Generation
• Promoting room upgrades, dining options, and hotel services to enhance revenue.
Maintaining Front Desk Operations:
• Keeping the reception area clean and organized.
• Performing shift handovers and updating logs for the next team.
