Responsibilities & Context: 

Averroes International School, Lalmatia is a leading Islamic international school committed to nurturing global leaders with a strong grounding in Islamic values and culture. Position: Subject Teacher (English, Math, Science, Bangla, Physics, Economics, Business, Accounting, Chemistry and Biology, Arabic language & Islamic studies etc.)

Reporting to: Coordinator/Head of Department/Section Head/Vice Principal/Principal

Educational Requirements:  

  • Bachelor/Honors
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area. Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Candidates with professional teaching qualification (i.e. B.Ed/ Cambridge Celta/ Cambridge Delta/ Cambridge CDiTL/CCiTL/ TKT/iPLS CPD Courses/Cambridge certificate courses/ British Council certificate courses) will be preferred.

Experience:  

  • At least 2 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): School

Additional Requirements:  

  • A Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching, preferably in an English Medium Islamic School.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Experience in teaching at the relevant grade level or subject area.
  • Knowledge of curriculum standards and educational best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and online learning platforms.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative academic environment.
