To qualify for this position, candidates typically need proven experience as a telesales representative or in another sales/customer service role, a proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone, good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g., CRM software) and telephone systems, the ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to handle rejection, outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints, and at least a high school diploma; a BSc/BA is a plus.
