According to Google, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across various disciplines. The university conducts admissions twice a year, corresponding to the Spring and Fall semesters.
Undergraduate Programs:
AUST provides bachelor’s degrees in fields such as Architecture, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Textile Engineering, Industrial and Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Business Administration.
Admission Requirements:

For SSC-HSC Candidates:
- Applicants must have completed SSC or equivalent examinations in 2020 or later, and HSC or equivalent examinations in 2022 or later.
- A minimum GPA of 3.5 in HSC (including additional subjects) is required.
- The combined GPA from SSC and HSC should be at least 8.0, including additional subjects.

For O & A-Level Candidates:
- Candidates should have completed at least five subjects in O-Level, including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English.
- A-Level studies must include Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, with a minimum equivalent GPA of 3.5.
- The total equivalent GPA from O and A-Levels should be at least 8.0.
Admission Process:
Prospective students are required to apply online through the university’s admission portal. The selection process includes an admission test covering subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English. The test duration is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Important Dates:
- Application Period: January 30, 2025, to February 19, 2025
- Admission Test: March 8, 2025
- Result Publication: March 16, 2025
Tuition Fees:
The total tuition fee for most engineering programs is approximately BDT 1,310,000, with each semester costing around BDT 105,000. The application fee is BDT 1,500.
