E-Zone HRM Limited is now accepting applications from Bangladeshi Nationals for the following vacancies under third party outsourcing contract modality.

• Duty Station: Wikimedia Bangladesh Office.
• Contract Duration:  Up to 30 June 2027.
• Contract Type: Contract with E-zone.          
• Contract Start Date:  Immediate
• Reporting to: Program Lead

A. Purpose

The Communications and Outreach Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing Wikimedia Bangladesh’s communication strategies, managing public outreach, and documenting program activities. This role will help ensure that the organization`s work is effectively communicated to internal and external audiences, while also maintaining accurate records and reports for transparency and impact.

B. Major Responsibilities

Communications & Outreach

• Develop and manage social media content (Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) in line with the organization`s voice and goals.
• Design and schedule outreach campaigns to promote events, contests, and community initiatives.
• Draft blog posts, newsletters, press releases, and updates for the Wikimedia Bangladesh website and Meta-Wiki.
• Collaborate with media partners and journalists to increase visibility of Wikimedia activities in Bangladesh.
• Monitor engagement analytics and adjust outreach strategies accordingly to increase reach and impact.

Documentation & Reporting

• Collect, organize, and archive event-related materials, including photos, attendance lists, reports, and feedback.
• Prepare monthly updates, mid-term and final narrative reports, and learning documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain a consistent record of the organization`s programs on Meta-Wiki and Wikimedia Bangladesh’s official Wiki site.
• Assist in preparing visual and written materials for presentations, workshops, and grant reporting.

General Support

• Work closely with program teams to ensure timely documentation and promotion of ongoing initiatives.
• Support the creation of knowledge-sharing materials such as case studies, success stories, and impact highlights.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Lead to support communication and programmatic needs.

Educational Requirements:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience:  

• 3 to 5 years
  
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Development Agency, NGO

Additional Requirements:  

• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in communications, outreach, or digital media management, preferably with non-profit or development organizations.
• Skills: Proven expertise in social media management, content creation, and basic graphic design. Familiarity with Wiki platforms and open-source documentation is highly desirable. Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Bengali and English.

 Additional Preferences:  

• Own smartphone or laptop (for client follow-up and marketing content).
  Computer Skills: MS word, Photoshop/illustrator, Canva (video and photo editing)
