- বাংলাদেশ ব্যতীত অন্য কোন দেশ থেকে আগে স্নাতকোত্তর ডিগ্রি নেননি (তবে যারা বাংলাদেশ থেকে স্নাতকোত্তর ডিগ্রি নিয়েছেন, তাঁরা যোগ্য বলে বিবেচিত হবেন)।
- যে বিষয়ে পড়তে যেতে ইচ্ছুক, সেই বিষয়ের সঙ্গে প্রাসঙ্গিক/ সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্মক্ষেত্রে ন্যূনতম দুই বছরের পূর্ণকালীন কাজের অভিজ্ঞতা থাকতে হবে।
