According to Google, The Dhaka School of Economics (DScE), a constituent institution of the University of Dhaka, offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in economics and related disciplines. The institution aims to establish a high academic standard for higher studies and research in these fields.
Undergraduate Programs:
DScE offers a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in:
- Environmental and Resource Economics
- Development Economics
- Entrepreneurial Economics
Admission Requirements:
- Applicants must have passed SSC/Dakhil/O level or equivalent examinations between 2018 and 2021, and HSC/Alim/A level or equivalent examinations in 2022 or 2023.
- A minimum combined score of 6.0 (including the 4th subject) is required.
- For O and A level candidates, at least 5 subjects in O level and 2 subjects in A level are necessary, with a minimum of B in O level and C in A level.
The program duration is 4 years (8 semesters), and the degree is awarded by the University of Dhaka.
Postgraduate Programs:
DScE offers a Master of Economics in:
- Environmental Economics
- Development Economics
- Entrepreneurship Economics
Admission Requirements:
- Applicants should have a Bachelor (4 years) or Master’s degree from a recognized university.
- A third division/class at any level is not acceptable.
The program duration is 18 months (52 credits), and the degree is awarded by the University of Dhaka.

- Application forms are available at the Front Desk Office, 5th Floor, 4/C Eskaton Garden Road, Ramna, Dhaka 1000, Bangladesh, from Saturday to Wednesday, 10 am – 5 pm.
- Forms can also be downloaded from the DScE website.
- Alternatively, applicants can apply online through the DScE admission portal.
Application Fees:
- Bachelor Programs: Tk. 500
- Master Programs: Tk. 1,000
Payments should be made to Pubali Bank Moghbazar Branch, A/C title: “Dhaka School of Economics”, SB A/C no.: 2775101071560. After payment, applicants must submit the payment slip image on the admission site.
