যুক্তরাজ্যের ইউনিভার্সিটি অব শেফিল্ড ২০২৪ সালে ১২৫টি বৃত্তি দেবে আন্তর্জাতিক শিক্ষার্থীদের। বাংলাদেশসহ বিশ্বের অনেক দেশের শিক্ষার্থীরা এ বৃত্তির জন্য আবেদন করতে পারবেন। স্নাতকোত্তরে এ মেধাবৃত্তি প্রদান করবে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়টি। এর কেতাবি নাম পোস্টগ্র্যাজুয়েট মেরিট স্কলারশিপ–২০২৪। এ বৃত্তিতে স্নাতকোত্তরের শিক্ষার্থীরা পাঁচ হাজার পাউন্ড করে পাবেন। ১৮ এপ্রিলের হিসেবে বাংলাদেশি মুদ্রায় (১ পাউন্ড সমান ১৩৬ টাকা ৬৪ পয়সা) এর পরিমাণ দাঁড়ায় ৬ লাখ ৮৩ হাজার ২০৩ টাকা। ২০২৪ সালের সেপ্টেম্বরে শুরু হবে প্রোগ্রাম।
সুযোগ-সুবিধা
•বৃত্তির জন্য আবেদন জমা দেওয়ার শেষ সময় এ বছরের ১৩ মে;
•বৃত্তির ফলাফল ঘোষণা করা হবে ২০২৪–এর ১০ জুন;
•যে শিক্ষার্থী বৃত্তি পাবেন, তিনি তাঁকে একটি নির্দিষ্ট সময়সীমার মধ্যে স্বীকৃতিপ্রাপ্তি নিশ্চিত করতে হবে।

যোগ্যতা
- বয়স অনূর্ধ্ব ৩০ হতে হবে।
- স্নাতকে ভালো ফলধারী হতে হবে।
- ফরাসী মাটিতে এক বছরেরও কম সময়ের জন্য বসবাসকারী বিদেশী শিক্ষার্থী।
- ইংরেজি দক্ষতা সনদ প্রদর্শন করতে হবে।
